We have not been that successful in finding sushi restaurants here in Osaka, but our first night in Tokyo made up for it. We stumbled upon a Japanese fusion restaurant called Maruhachi.
We grabbed food and drinks here, and ordered one of each of the house specialties. This included several types of sushi, and a plate each of shrimp and chicken cooked and covered with the unique house sauces.
My drink, made extremely fresh with whole kiwis.
Avocado Roll - Okay so this one might be a little “Americanized,” but it was gooo-ood, and one of their specialties, so we couldn’t pass it up. Don’t worry we get authentic later.
Ebbimayo - Literally meaning shrimp with mayo.
AND THEN, THINGS GOT INTERESTING.
And since you cant just pass up a game of Russian Roulette with Sushi while dining in Tokyo (Even though I am terribly afraid of Wasabi.) we ordered 4 pieces, and well, you can see what happens on the video below.
